I’m a former professional athlete with the Houston Astros who transitioned into technology through cybersecurity investigations and engineering—building deep expertise in secure, scalable systems. My early career began in Identity & Access Management at Centene, where I engineered IAM frameworks and deployed SailPoint solutions. I then moved into cyber threat intelligence at Citibank, directing global cyber investigations and data analytics operations, before advancing into a cyberfusion leadership role at Booz Allen Hamilton, where I supported clients like Yahoo, DHS, and Toyota with AI/ML‑driven threat detection and Splunk optimization. These experiences laid the foundation for my transition into cloud, data, and AI/ML solution architecture—culminating in enterprise-ready Generative AI solutions.
Previously, I served as an AI/ML Solutions Architect Specialist at AWS, where my work spanned Generative AI, AI search, and advanced analytics. This included large-scale data processing with Apache Spark and Amazon EMR, plus real-time streaming with Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), Amazon Kinesis, and Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink. I was an SME for Amazon OpenSearch Service and Splunk, helping organizations modernize search and observability. For model development and deployment, I used Amazon SageMaker, Hugging Face, and Amazon Bedrock. What began with traditional ML evolved into AI-powered search, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented architectures that scale intelligence across the business.
In this role, I partnered with go-to-market and service-aligned teams (including the OpenSearch GTM group), supporting 200+ sales opportunities while blending open-source innovation with enterprise scale. This included joint solutions with IBM's Intelligent Automation Platform and PwC's Cyberfusion Center for Security Analytics. Beyond delivery, I contributed to enablement programs through workshops and skill-building initiatives. These engagements spanned a diverse set of clients and industries—including financial services, telecom, technology, healthcare, and the public sector.
